A ring worn by members of Akatsuki. Once the ring is slipped on, it becomes sealed to the finger it is upon. The only way to remove it is to know the specific sealing jutsu used on it. Or alternatively, cut off the finger it is on.

Specific seals are placed within each ring, which grants certain perks to wearing them.

  • It allows wearers to request a summoning to and from other ring bearers, allowing for quick transportation to certain locations where rest or reconnaissance may be required.
  • Members may communicate and call upon each other when needed.
  • A replicating Explosive Seal is embedded within the ring, which allows wearers to place the same seal on surfaces which the ring touches, upon their discretion. This does not mean that the user knows the technique itself, but they are allowed the knowledge of knowing how to place and activate it.

An alternate set of the rings were forged by Bocchiere for his own Akatsuki and their abilities differ from that of the original ten.

  • Wearers are able to communicate telepathically with each other as well as be informed of any other ring's location at will. This is done by focusing on the mental image of a world map and then the ring one wishes to locate. The rings location will then become visible on the map.
  • All ten were engraved with Bocchiere's own jutsu-shiki for the Flying Thunder God Technique
  • The rings constantly draw from a reserve of chakra to surround their wearer with a small barrier (extends 1 foot from the body) that disrupts any space-time jutsu other than their own or Bocchiere's. The barrier is invisible to all but Rinnegan eyes, though the presence of the barrier surrounding the wearer may be detected via chakra sensing techniques.
