Using Orochimaru's DNA, Kabuto creates microscopic sized snakes that recreate a living being if the right DNA is obtained. The spring water produced by The Hole appears to increase the regenerative process. Kabuto used this technique to recreate Akatsuki member Hidan.
SL Version
Using the regenerative property of planarian and the intended targets DNA, Rakudo is able to make an exact clone. Which then can be controlled by use of a special talisman. He perfers that the clone can become a mindless tool rather than one with access the original's personality and memories. Clones produced through this method are also able to use any abilities they possessed in life.
