D (デー, Dee) is a jōnin-level shinobi of Kumogakure.

Abilities

Physical Prowess

D's main trademark is his physical strength, which he constantly works upon building up. His daily work-out regimen includes lifting hundreds of pounds of weight, while taking long jogs through-out the village. Even when he is not working out, he constantly wears weights upon his shins and upon his arms as vambraces. D rarely takes off these weights, as even he fears his own full strength. A simple punch from his unrestrained strength is enough to easily shatter a concrete wall.

Taijutsu

Hand-to-hand combat is D's main forte, giving no time for his opponents to form hand seals. In a shinobi world full of ninjutsu-users, taijutsu is mostly left as a supplementary or lesser skill by many. This is one of D's main reasons in taking up taijutsu vigorously, as investing in this area of combat more than others allows him to have a greater advantage than most.

Ninjutsu

Of course, D's other strength is in ninjutsu as well. Though most of his ninjutsu is usually some of the more simpler techniques, which are easily master-able by most.

Nature Transformation

D's greatest strength is in the use of Lighting Release. He mainly utilizes this by training with the Lightning Release Armour and working very proficiently in combining this with his taijutsu daily. This has made him an expert in the use of Nintaijutsu. His strength is nothing without the speed to execute it, thus this is why he has taken up the use of the lighting armor's speed and reflex-enhancing ability.
