After the Dragon Blade (龍刃, Ryūjin) had been lost and seemingly abandoned, it sought a new wielder in Naito. Because of the delicate nature of this mythical item, the blade had been reforged alongside another by a renown swordsmith of Tenryūji. The prior practice of utilizing Kaguya bone to expand the blade's length by filling gaps has been substituted with dragonscale, a material regarded as either equal to or even surpassing the previously employed substance. This is attributed to the fact that dragonscale's composition resonates harmoniously with the draconic essence of this specific blade.
Appearance[]
This legendary katana has a graceful curve, featuring a trefoil-shaped golden tsuba at its guard. It boasts a pristine white color scheme that perfectly embodies its celestial "Heaven" theme. The tsuba showcases a trefoil shape with thick ridges, and a central hole in each lobe.
The tsuka, instead of traditional tsuka-ito wrapping, appears to be coated in solid ivory lacquer, adding to its elegant appearance. This tsuka is adorned with a pair of ridged bands just above the fuchi, along with another set of ridges higher up, accompanied by two separate lines of studs, all running parallel. The kashira, adorned with a single stud, takes inspiration from the motif of clouds with its large size.
The saya, matching the tsuka's solid white hue, features a cord hanging just below the tsuba, adorned with two tufted ends, seemingly representing the sageo. Additionally, the saya is beautifully embellished with a triple set of flower motifs on each side. The pair of flowers near the cord boasts six petals, while the two below feature seven petals each. The kojiri, similar to its counterpart Little Fox, is generously sized and incorporates trefoil cutouts on each side to mirror the tsuba's design. It is further accentuated by a broad, knobbed ring situated just above it.
Abilities[]
The blade exhibits numerous similarities to Samehada, such as its loyalty to its current owner, although it lacks the conventional sentience that Shark Skin possesses. This loyalty allows the wielder to utilize an ability known as Weapon Calling up to 100 feet with proper training and it also allows the blade to seek out the owner of its own will through same ability. Additionally, both blades share the ability to absorb chakra with each swing, albeit to a lesser extent. While Samehada can absorb the equivalent of 6 tails of Bijuu chakra per swing, the Dragon Blade can only absorb 2 tails without training, and with training, it can absorb up to 4 tails.
Despite not matching the absorption prowess of the Shark Skin, the Dragon Blade compensates with its own unique ability. By harnessing five distinct-colored orbs, the user can embed one of them at a time into the blade's tsuba. This allows the user to access the corresponding nature element represented by the chosen color, enabling them to execute any desired jutsu through the blade.
Drawbacks[]
Although wielding the Dragon Blade doesn't involve a quantifiable chakra expenditure, it does demand a substantial chakra reserve from the user to wield it without adverse effects. In Naito's case, his dual heritage as both an Uchiha and a Senju granted him a sufficiently sizable chakra pool to effectively control the weapon. However, individuals with smaller chakra reserves may require external sources, such as a Bijuu or Jiongu, to harness the blade's power adequately.
Author’s Note[]
I created this page primarily due to my personal aesthetic preferences for the sword's appearance. It is worth noting that should someone acquire the weapon from me, they retain the option to restore it to its original or V2 state. Importantly, all inherent abilities of the weapon remain faithful to the original design, albeit adjusted to adhere to the parameters and standards set by the game of SL.

After receiving the Dragon Blade from a confidant, Rusaku decided to reforge the weapon to fit his aesthetic tastes. The length of the original tool was not to his liking, so he melted down the metals and shaped it to be longer, using Kaguya bone to fill the gaps in material. All abilities of the sword remain the same, the only difference is in the length, and it’s appearance.
Abilities[]
The Dragon blade shares a great number of similarities to Samehada, in that it remains partial to its current owner, but lacks the conventional sentience that the Shark Skin has. It also shares the ability to absorb chakra with each swing, but on a lesser scale. While Samehada can absorb the equivalent of 6 tails of Biju chakra per swing, the Dragon Blade can only absorb 2 without training and up to 4 with training.
Despite lacking the absorption potency of the Shark skin, the Dragon Blade makes up for it with it’s own unique ability. Utilizing 5 different colored orbs, the user is able to plant one of them into the blades hilt, and utilize the nature element that corresponds with its color, performing whatever jutsu the user wishes through it.
Drawbacks[]
While not actually having a measurable chakra cost to wield, the user must have a considerable level of chakra in order for the Dragon Blade to obey without consequence. For Rusaku, his status as both an Otsutsuki and transmigrant for Hamura’s son, garnered him a large enough chakra pool to wield the weapon effectively. Others may need outside sources such as a Bijuu or Jiongu to properly utilize it.
