The Space-Time Extermination technique is the adaptation of the Space-Time Cancellation barrier in the Three-Dimensional structures of a typical Dust Release technique. While this seems like a simple addition of extra handseals, it actually took a lot more thought. The level of complexity one's chakra has to achieve to complete this technique requires the utmost level of chakra control and patience.
Because of this, the user's emotions can't be out of their control when using this technique. If said emotions cause the user to lose their patience, the barrier like effect will subside and the target will be able to escape.
As such, while it is possible for the user to use this like any other Dust Release technique, its optimal for the user to trap their target inside the barrier first. Once that is achieved, their target will soon be erased from the battlefield, as the speed of Dust Release will handle the rest.
With Sage Mode, the user can increase the size/strength of the Three-Dimensional structure, and the speed of the explosion from the core inside.
