Yūmei creates two seals in mid-air above/overlooking the target, which will then quickly 'assess' the quantity of chakra the latter possesses. The greater their stores, the more rites will manifest on the seals. This is not however, an instantaneous process, and if the target is not pinned down or rendered completely immobile, they can escape the trajectories of the seals, of which will then disperse.

If however, the target cannot escape, then the seals will attempt to quickly draw out their chakra, forcing them to be enveloped within a cloak of chakra, which when it has partially-formed, will then be converted into explosive energy, and deal a varying quantity of damage to them, depending on how much chakra was drawn out, and the quantity which was stirred within when the technique was being utilized. While this technique may only inflict a medium-quantity of damage to a Genin-level shinobi, a jinchūriki would be pushed to the brink of death.
