Opening

Growing up in the Land of Sound, the brute known as Gozu had few options to do with his life. His sheer size did not translate well to farming, so instead it was the life of a shinobi. Gozu was a late bloomer, not graduating from the academy until the age of 17. After graduating, he was placed under the guidance of a local jounin of the village, and would participate in his squad for the next three years. Eventually his squad leader would parish in battle, not before having taught Gozu the basics of being a shinobi and improving his Earth Release skills. Gozu would spend the next four years doing solo work around the village, slowly honing his skills. It was also around this time, where an unknown man experimented on him, allowing his body to turn into mud, similar to the Hozuki ability.

Being a bit more social

Deciding to take a more active part in the life of his village, Gozu at the age of 24, would break out of his shell and help out more. (To be continued)
