Yomi grabs a target with a hand coated in Harcesis chakra , dehydrating their body at speed and severity dependent on how much power she uses, and whether the target is capable of resisting or counter-acting the foul power somehow. Though the technique does require direct physical contact to work, considering how quickly it can turn a person or beast into a dried up husk even a moments carelessness can easily be lethal. Even if interrupted prior to death the target may still soon perish regardless, for any moisture Yomi takes is either suctioned into her body or released into the air as harmless vapor, none of it returned even if the technique is ended. As one last macabre detail, if she continues beyond the targets death the corpse will crumble into a blackened pile of powdery, near sand-like waste, leaving nothing to salvage.
