Human Puppet

  • Sasori
The list of properties to be used for the data fields has not been specified properly.

A technique developed by Sasori during his time in Sunagakure, this allows him to create puppets from human corpses. As Sasori was the only person to know how to create human puppets, this technique became lost when he died.

By removing the internal organs of a foe and preserving the body to prevent decomposition, as well as adding weapons and defences, Sasori can make powerful human puppets. These puppets are different from normal ones, as they retain their use of chakra and any kekkei genkai that the human host once had.

  1. Each human puppet may only contain one of the Kekkei Genkai they had in their lifetime, Kekkei Tōta may not be possessed. They cannot use any other techniques they possessed in their lifetime, though can instead be equipped (and modified) with tools utilizable by ordinary puppets (and controllers for their Kekkei Genkai).
  2. Human puppets cannot be implanted with any Kekkei Genkai (such as the Sharingan) even if they do not currently possess one as a human puppet.
  3. For a human puppet's Kekkei Genkai to be used, the proper medium(s) must be equipped to them, such as physical Sharingan for a Sharingan user.
  4. Human puppets can only be made from human corpses. Human corpses with genetically modified DNA (such as Dragon Humanoids) cannot be used.
  5. Only one human puppet may be used actively. They may not be used concurrently with any ordinary puppets either.
  6. The corpses of alts may not be used, though the corpses of NPC's is permissible.

Known Human Puppets (Sasori)

  • Hiruko: Once a great shinobi of Sunagakure, now a deadly puppet worn like a battle armour.

  • In the anime, two puppets from Sasori's hundred puppet army are seen with Sharingan, leading to the inference that they were human puppets.
