The user expels a strong amount of ice nature chakra from all their tenketsu that creates an instantaneous cocoon made of ice to protect themselves from an attack. The cocoon surrounds their whole body and it has ice spiking outwards to deter physical assaults. It also flash freezes any projectiles thrown at the user, whether it be a jutsu or item. The range is determined solely by the amount of chakra used. Since it requires no hand seals and can be executed instantaneously, it provides a significant tactical advantage against ambush attacks.
