Kogasu is a powerful katana that holds more danger than perceived. Currently in possession of Saki Maeda, its main attribute is that it is imbued with an acidic chakra-burning layer such that should the blade come in contact with another sword, it will be able to burn through the material with the speed varying depending on the substance it clashes with. Additionally it carries the ability to burn through chakra-based attacks or defenses.
The hilt is a pristine gold color, and the handle is wrapped in black with dark green detailing which matches the onyx-colored blade of the katana itself.
