Land of Rain Wetlands

Land of Rain

The Land of Rain (雨の国, Ame no Kuni) is a small country that sits between three of the five largest countries, those being the Land of Earth to the north, the Land of Fire to the east and the Land of Wind to the south. It's climate is humid, with rain almost constantly throughout the land. Due to this, rice is the land's main cash crop and export, which leads to an abundance of rice fields all over it's geography. Whereas other parts of the world experience rainy days, the land would see mostly-cloudy days. Even rarer would be an almost clear day with the sun shining through. Because of this weather, the attire of nearly all inhabitants are usually cloaks and hats to block out the rain.

Amegakure (雨隠れの里, Amegakure no Sato; Literally meaning "Village Hidden in the Rain") is a small, yet highly industrialized hidden village in the Land of Rain. Its architecture is composed of several metallic skyscrapers with rowed ducts connected to them and many power lines surrounding. A number of smaller villages also surround Amegakure. As its name suggests, it rains almost constantly due to a storm above the village.
