Background
Appearance
At 5"2, Mizuho is a very petite girl. She has brown eyes and dark brown hair that falls to her waist.
The kunoichi is usually seen wearing her medic uniform. Other times, she prefers to don short kimonos. No matter what she's wearing, she always has her medical pouch with her. Her Kusagakure hitai-ate is tied up in her hair like a hairband.
Personality
Anyone who's come in contact with Mizuho would observe her bright, unwavering spirit. She's kind to everyone that she meets, always willing to lend a hand to help someone in need. Deeply empathetic, she's the type of person to cry for the other person, able to perceive people's emotions vividly. Usually seen with a smile upon her lips, she's the soothing presence and often the voice of reason in a crowd. Ever the optimist, even in the darkest situations she always retains her cheerful demeanor. She strongly believes that there's a light at the end of every tunnel, and will not hesitate to remind people that.
Her compassion is something that she holds onto no matter what. She treats her enemies and opponents with honor and respect, knowing that they're usually formidable and important in their own way, even if she doesn't agree with it. She's positive that there's at least some sort of good inside of everyone, even if it's buried deep down. Due to this belief, she believes in second chances and has a very forgiving nature. Fiercely loyal to the people important to her, Mizu is willing to give up everything for them. Nothing comes before her friends and family.
At first glance--especially in a formal setting--This kunoichi can seem quiet and obedient, and in a way, she is. Rule abiding and meek, she doesn't speak out against orders or anyone in general for the most part. She keeps her mouth shut and suppresses her feelings to avoid conflict. Even though Mizu's role is a follower and a supporter, she is capable of taking control of a situation when needed and displays impressive leadership skills.
In her personal life, she's a frequent user of sarcasm. Quirky and playful, she lets her guard down around the people she trusts and lets her immaturity shine through. This girl loves poking fun at people, spreading joy and laughter as she does. She has a sweet, childish air around her.
Despite her actual skill and prowess in many aspects of ninja skills and various other things, she is incredibly humble. She underestimates her intelligence and capability. This is due to her lack of confidence. Stemming from the disbelief in her actual power, she is often hesitant to accept responsibility because she believes that she will fail. Her lack of faith has hindered her every so often, restricting her from her full extent of power.
Abilities
Mizuho's abilities are akin to a flower budding; They are steadily expanding into a fully mature arsenal. Finding herself gifted with near perfect chakra control, she was very eligible for the advanced healing arts known as Medical ninjutsu. Serving as a doctor in Kusagakure has helped these abilities grow and soon, she would find herself quite the master of her craft.
Branching out, she would take up the basic elements, finding that she held the katon and fuuton affinities within her chakra. Utilizing this knowledge, she would train them together with various teachers. In fire, she is more adept, containing stronger flames than the normal ninja due to her Phoenix training with Tsuyo. She is also extremely resistant to flames, if not immune, just as Tsuyo. As for fuuton ninjutsu, she is slowly learning the art. All in all, she is still an adept in the elemental ninjutsu.
