Sabumaru or more commonly Sabu is a half-Hōzuki, half-Uzumaki sage from the water country, known for his disgusting fly summons, unique ninjutsu arsenal, powerful and unique equipment that often provides an edge in combat, unbreakable durability, unpredictable combat style, talented Byakugan usage, and for his mastery of Medical Jutsu, Uzumaki Fūinjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Kenjutsu.
Sabu is a terrorist, "former" drug-addict, sociopath and cannibal with a notorious habit of becoming explosively violent over petty things, despite his very laid-back attitude towards more serious situations. His recent antics have made him an enemy of a few villages, something he personally believes has caught on among other ninja villages as well. He seeks to throw the world into chaos, which was why he joined The Akatsuki. He dislikes sweet things very much. His left eye is a Byakugan taken from a Grand Master Hyūga.
He has a brother named Yoshira, whom he loves very much. He is extremely protective of Yoshira, believing himself to be responsible for his Uzumaki brother's well-being after murdering his father, though he hardly babysits the boy and lets him do as he pleases for the most part. His brother is marked with Sabu's Hirashin seal.
Currently, he is hiding, scheming, plucking victims from the streets at random.
