Takama no Hara is a constant effect embedded in Kage's Susano'o. It grants resistance against any ethereal, spiritual, other-worldly or divine powers and effects.

Senjutsu Chakra Effect

When influenced by Susanoo Sage Mode, the effects and powers are of Takama no Hara are amplified to the point of preventing any soul-related effects or powers from being utilized on the bearer. For example, the soul-stealing effects of the Human Path or Naraka Path.

Trivia

Takama no Hara was the plane which the kami resided and dwell according to Shinto. Most notably, those whom were the kami of ame (heaven), as opposed to the kami of tsuchi (earth).
