Current day Uzushiogakure.

Uzushiogakure (渦潮隠れの里, Uzushiogakure no Sato; English TV "Hidden Eddy Village"; Literally meaning "Village Hidden by Whirling Tides") is the shinobi village of the Land of Whirlpools. Its ninja were renowned for their fūinjutsu to the point that it led to its destruction. Those who survived the village's destruction scattered across the globe to seek refuge; sprouting its genetics throughout the world. It was until a grand scheme to return the Land of the Whirlpools back on the map, is when Uzushiogakure returned as an active shinobi village. Completely re-designed, the shinobi village now houses its returning ancestral bloodlines. It holds neutral diplomacy with all great nations, acting more as a sanctuary in order to maintain peaceful relations with most nations and prevent another downfall.

The people of Uzushiogakure were noted to have notoriously long lives, so it gained the epithet "The Village of Longevity" (長寿の里, Chōju no Sato). In terms of appearance, the village seemed to have been composed of several high-rise buildings. A wide river seemingly ran through the village and was gapped by large bridges. The surrounding countryside was dominated by steep hills.Uzushiogakure had close ties with Konohagakure, due to Uzushio's Uzumaki clan and Konoha's Senju clan being distant blood relatives. Because of this, all flak jackets worn by the chūnin and jōnin-level shinobi of Konohagakure bear the crest of Uzushiogakure, symbolising the strong friendship between both villages. This symbol is also emblazoned on some of the shoulders of the outfits that the Konoha shinobi wear underneath the flak jackets.Having been restored to its natural beauties, much of the village layout holds similar blue-print designs towards the villages original structures. There seems to have been placed a grand statue carved out of marble in the center of the village, resembling; Keitō Uzumaki for his notorious plan of restoring the village. Actively growing the village accepts its family from all over the world, acting as the restored home for its descendant clans.

It welcomes foreigners from all over the world to visit and partake in their peaceful activities. The village has opened up intense training zones around the island for those who wish to practice sacred arts as well as possibly understand a more in depth field of the spiritual realm. With the tourism they are able to maintain just who exactly enters and exists the island, making its only access by sea or air. The village itself seems to be a high exporting country, in attempts to boost an economic glory; providing materials and goods to many neighboring countries. Specifically their textile industry becoming a big success with the latest fashion in the shinobi world.

The Shinobi

The residence of Uzushiogakure is very unique upon its restoration. All of them have shown signs of great longevity, growing up to be the oldest and wisest ninjas in the realm. Most of the population is dominated by the Uzumaki Clan, making them a head and leading clan active within the village. Attribute to the Uzumaki population it is common to notice most of the villagers poses red hair. Although, looks aren't all that is interesting with the people as they have been known to love researching and investing their times with seals and scrolls. The village has seem to take pride in its grand library, in which holds records of past ancestral documents as well as current literature the villager's continually compose. The new age of Uzumaki seem to be able to live in a more peaceful serine environment, enjoying beautiful architecture as well as investing in preserving nature.

Shinobi of Uzushiogakure definitely show a great display of chakra control. There is a heavy Uzumaki influence among the shinobi, causing most to heavily practice the sealing arts and various martial arts combat; akin to their barbaric fighting style, using sheer force alone. Many seem to find that they are skilled in the medical field and furthermore pursue an expansive knowledge in recuperative abilities. Various shinobi may venture around the island and visit sacred monuments, encouraging training as well as venturing to find one's true self. Various temples and shrines can be found sprouted throughout the area; housing monks and spiritual practitioners who focus on finding inner peace and projecting such throughout the villagers and shinobi.

Uzushiogakure Hierarchy

After the abrupt and sudden revival of the Uzumaki clan, most of its highly respected shinobi would form a council of sorts in order to dictate and organize a way of life among the clan. With the growing forces, the Uzumaki's believed it was necessary to keep such old traditions that has successfully restored their home and maintain a peaceful environment. In order to do such, there are various heads of organizations that are active within the village; creating the very same council but on a village basis. The village leader, runs the meetings in which he calls in all the other council members to discuss decisions and also to relay and discuss on the overall status of the village. Like a democracy, each member gets a vote on a decision; ultimately choosing for or against said decision. Such a system has kept the regards of the people a priority in order to achieve an overall peace within the village. The village leader is called the Shiokage and so far in Uzushiogakure's history there has only been one.

The Land of Whirlpools had been completely restored through a triumphant attempt to revive the Uzumaki Clan under its true roots. With it came a complete remodeling of the entire land. The village of Uzushiogakure was built to be on an entire mountain slope; Keitō's mansion being the highest point. There is a grand waterfall that is generated from the peak of Uzushiogakure, known to consist of the flowing river that travels throughout the village's entirety. Various bridges connect land masses throughout the mountainous village together; separating it into sections of building structures and natural hot springs and lively trees. Many buildings and structures are actually carved into the mountain itself, providing to the illusion as to how Uzushiogakure may be so large. Unknown to mostly everyone there is actually operations and secret under goings that are maintained actively underneath the entire village; a network of underground lairs and caverns that in which most of its security is situated. Underground is the core of the village's barriers and sealing setups; acting as the blueprints of how they organize such an extensive security system while maintaining peace throughout the land.

There is one main entrance that non villagers are directed and escorted through, consisting of grand stairs that lead into a large gate. Other than that there are 4 entrances the 3 other gates being used by daily villagers for access to specific parts of the island. The pathway of stairs stretches from the village itself all the way to the port of Uzushiogakure. Various watchtowers and posts are organized along the trail and at the bottom of Uzushiogakure, in order to gain a better aspect as to whats going on. The village is not encased in walls; due to the dangerously steep mountainsides, providing the boundaries. Usually the village is being surveyed and under watch by multiple forces at all times; taking shifts in order to maintain the clockwork security.

consists of highly delicate natural training areas in which shinobi may visit and partake in more intense training. Wildlife roams the parts ranging from Bengal Tigers to Great Black Bears that live in harmony with most of the island's natives and Uzumaki's. They act as another force deemed necessary to reconcile with when attempting to harm the land. As well as are the guardians of the sacred areas within the island. The coastline of the island is where most of Uzushiogakure's famous beaches are located as well as housing a large port in which the Uzumaki's maintain and operate in order to transport people to and from the island as well as import and export shipments. The port is a highly populated and surveyed area; being one of the only methods in entering the island; providing transportation directly to the village upon arrival. Most of the steep mountainous foundations don't allow for entry from any area; the port being the most approachable area and safe loading zone from the Great Sea.

Villages Defenses

In order to maintain a peaceful and serine environment, Uzushiogakure enforces heavily on its defensive and protective measures. Utilizing an intricate system of barriers and sealing tags they have devised a blue print of sorts that activates their sealing components on a wide village scale; called the Master Code. They heavily enforce their defenses and will show no hesitation to utilize them in times of need in order to maintain peace for their people. The main reason they welcome all shinobi is due to their firm belief that their defenses are up to par in defending in mostly every situation. If not that is when the sheer Uzushiogakure Army's force is utilized to squash a threat. Other than that, their intricate barrier systems have provided a method for them to subdue evil quickly and effectively.

Great Sea

SeaLookoutPost

One of the many lookout towers out in the Great Sea.

The island layout provides a great advantage to Uzushiogakure in times of battle and war. Unknown to all is a mysterious beast that acts as a guardian of the seas; Charybdis. It seems to be one of the reasons the island is surrounded by intense vortexes and whirlpools as a natural defense. The whirlpools act as a blockade of sorts, preventing any ships to reach the island; except for the devised path that Charydbis enjoys to roam in. Being able to sense hostile forces before they even reach such, the beast acts as a force to be reckoned with before reaching the island. Many invading ships barely reach the island due to such cause, the beast and whirlpools being known to swallow and consume surrounding islands and war ships. It seems the islanders have a mutual relation with the beast and have added such to their defensive structure. Initially before reaching the island, invaders must venture to the great sea where such treacherous defenses are set up. The Guardian of Uzushiogakure isn't the only force to deal with in the Great Sea. The naval force of Uzushiogakure ventures and patrols the high waters, in search for any sneaky sailors that attempt to bypass the whirling pools of water and destructive sea monster.

Fortified Defenses

Due to its already steep mountainous terrain, to reach any of the villages entrances one must scale the mountain. In order to protect themselves carefully positioned giant crossbows have been set up around the entire village. With easy loading these crossbows can spew forth arrows within a heartbeat. Dependent on the situation the arrows can be altered in the form of flaming arrow tips or composed with certain sealing properties, once piercing a target. The crossbows are manned and fully encompass the village. It is upon one of the first physically offensive defense structures implemented. The arrows themselves span over 6 feet tall, meaning being pierced by one is not a minor injury. If an invader is to get past the flailing arrows, and climb further up Uzushiogakure's steep slopes, certain risk of falling captive to the village ensues. The village's blue prints incorporated this very defense strategy to really throw off invaders (inevitably holding some part in causing the downfall of the previous village). Through its entire perimeter a false sense of hope is given to invaders; arriving on all around flat surface of land. The villagers of Uzushiogakure, know specifically of said zone; always being reminded to never enter said area. This second layer to their physical defense is comprised of a conjunction of sensing and sealing abilities. Hostile forces will triggers the sealing formula, composed throughout the entire zone. The land was created flat, so that when destroyed it will no longer provide an easier access to climb the mountain. Rigged with an explosive sealing formula, any area a hostile force lies in will immediately blow up; like a mine. The destruction force does not harm the initial structure of the village; since the earth destroyed is its outermost layer. Intended on blasting its foes and destroying any possible paths they could have taken all together. This is used as an offensive and defensive measure to keep invaders off their property.

Barriers

Under the sealing structure of the Master Code, the sacred sealing squad of Uzushiogakure may alter and activate any defensive barrier measures upon command. While maintaining the active Sensing Barrier which allows them to react accordingly to any unauthorized passages. Their barrier system allows them to spread intricate sealing formulas throughout the entire village's layout in seconds, in order to protect the innocents and village as a whole. The barrier system is always maintained and active, being the sole security factor in the events of turmoil. With the Master Code, the barrier and sealing division may activate whichever barrier method is necessary as ordered and directed in seconds. Although it is noted that the only active barrier at all times is the sensing barrier.

Five Seal Closing Gates

This is an extreme sealing barrier method, intended to preserve the harmony within Uzushiogakure as well as severely punish those who wish to disturb it. The 4 gates that allow access to the village are directly linked to the barrier, encompassing the entirety of the village. There are 4 specific tags placed on each of the gates and one tag placed beneath the center of the village. Once active, using any kind of physical attack to try and destroy something in the barrier is folly, as it will only lead to injury; redirecting back onto the caster. Furthermore the gates themselves no longer provide an ease of access, protecting the specific sealing tags. If someone who doesn't know the proper seal to be able to move freely throughout the technique; they will be engulfed in purple flames immediately. The barrier erected has an extremely high durability and surrounds the entire village, aerially as well. All Uzushiogakure personnel know of the seal required that grants access through the barrier, preventing them from being the ones who are trapped.

Chakra Chains

Devised by the Prophet himself a large portion of his chakras was stored in order to operate this sealing barrier. Under the impression that hostile forces have entered the village, this barrier works in two ways. Through various networks throughout the village; various chains sprout beyond the boundaries of the village in order to encase its entirety in a barrier that physically prevents anyone from leaving or entering the village. This is more of an ultimate measure, used to physically restrain anyone from leaving. More commonly, this sealing structure is used to sprout chakra chains in a specific location; utilized in order to restrain a person or beast effectively. The intricate sealing forumla spread throughout the entire village, allows for the chains to sprout from underground in any area. Both measures provide the purpose of fully restraining and restricting movement of attackers.

Space Time

Another sealing barrier that is intended to restrict escape and movements of attackers. This sealing structure also consists of two purposes. This barrier holds a non-visible orb around the village, acting to negate the usage of space time manipulation. Any attempts at opening a portal or summoning will be rendered useless as the chakras would immediately singe with a purple flame, absorbing and eating away at its properties. Au contraire there is is a network of hirashin seals spread throughout the village; installed by the village leader. Upon his command he may manipulate the seal in order to activate Flying Thunder God Technique in a specified location; able to teleport a ninja or technique away into another dimension or area. This can also be used to immediately transport troops to a certain area or relocate specified ninja upon command.

Uzumaki Sealing Tag

One of the more commonly used sealing barrier systems, used for hostile and threatening forces that cannot be subdued or restrained. This acts as an ultimate removed or cleanse of evil, incorporating one of the Uzumaki's notorious sealing techniques. In conjunction with the Sealing Tag Barrier the Uzumaki Sealing Technique is incorporated into the formula. Once active the formula spread throughout the village may target just about anyone within the confines of the village, regardless of how well they hide. From the ground various hiden sealing tags will appear beneath the target and aim to ensnare them with many thin threads. Once the target comes into contact with the sealing threads the sealing technique is then activated; causing the bound victim to become entrapped into the sealing formula of the tag. Immediately the tag marker will remain in their place, indicating its success. The sealed being may then be unsealed by preforming the reverse sealing technique, with the tag marker at hand. Otherwise the victim will forever become apart of the sealing formula.

In-Game Rules

  1. No foreigners are to auto-enter or exit the village. Doing so will result in a warning, ask for said player to re-post, and if they don't comply, they will be ignored.
