A sphere-shaped barrier of water is formed around the user, reaching just above their head. After the initial creation, the user can manipulate the water, allowing for water spikes, water tentacles, and even water hands. These appendages are not able to handle objects though. The shield is quite effective against Katon ninjutsu, but a Raiton ninjutsu will simply double the damage the user takes.
