This Cursed Seal was originally given to those resurrected by Yūmei Kokūzō via the Outer Path as a safeguard.
It was later, and is currently used by his antithesis to provide bearers immunity to the numerous defenses Tenryūji boasts.
V2 Passive Effect[]
Those with the updated seal are able to bypass the Hokage Residence's space-time ninjutsu disruption barrier, its Preta Path-absorbing structure, and Amenominakanushi's effect inside of the tower. It also allows them a means to enter the tower other than through its summit-bound entrance. Bearers also boast an immunity to the monochromatic and blood red mists flowing throughout the black forest outside of the city.
V1 & V2 Activated Effect[]
Just by forming the technique specific seal, Yūmei is able to forcibly 'activate' the Cursed Seal, thus leading to the rapid conversion of the bearer's chakra pool to possess the signature of Power Release, and being incompatible with it (as Yūmei is the sole user of it), will be near-instantly incapacitated by being internally surged by the kekkei tōta's red lightning, which negates their neural synapses entirely, and can severe their central's organs' connection(s) with other parts of the body, even stopping their heart or frying their brain (resulting in of course, death). Chakra absorption techniques would be used in vain when this surge takes place, as no matter how much of the red lightning is absorbed, the bearer's raw chakra will be constantly converted into Power Release-affinitied chakra so long as the Cursed Seal is active.
This Cursed Seal will be automatically reapplied upon its bearer should they be resurrected, be it in their original body or another, insinuating an eternal contract between the (previously-)resurrected and Yūmei; in actuality it is 'soul-bound' the the target upon application, so unless Yūmei removes it himself, it cannot be forcibly removed even through death. It can however, only be activated when the bearer is within a 20 meter distance of Yūmei, regardless of the existence of physical obstructions. Chakra-disrupting barriers through, may prevent the activation of the Cursed Seal, if lacking the signature of Power Release.
The seal takes on the appearance of the kanji for 'True' (真), and can be positioned anywhere on the bearer's body, such as their forehead, or on their chest. and still produce the same effects when activated to the same magnitude respectively.
