Yuzuki Mitsukawa (ミツカワ ュズキ, Mitsukawa Yuzuki), is the adopted daughter of Yuudai and Misaki Mitsukawa and the only heir to the Mitsukawa clan. She was a former Geisha that worked in the Hanamachi of the Land of Waves, and is now a traveler that works as an occasional tattoo artists.

Early childhood[]
Yuzuki was abandoned at the gates of the Mitsukawa household when she was barely a year old. Her mother, who is believe to be a past lover of Yuudai Mitsukawa, had left her there with nothing but a birth certificate and a letter. Her sudden arrival combined with her presumed background had caused a huge riot within the clan, causing such a huge scandal within the main household which threatened Yuudai’s position as the head of the Clan, and so Yudai had not wanted anything to do with Yuzuki, planning to send her off to an orphanage instead. However, at that time Misaki Mitsukawa, the barren wife of Yuudai had heard the discussion of the plans regarding Yuzuki, and as a gentle hearted woman who longs for a child of her own, she had begged to her husband to adopt Yuzuki instead and raise her as their own.
